What is anxiety
The word anxiety is a general term for a psychotic disorder that may cause fear, stress, apprehension and nervousness. This is not similar for all and symptoms may vary, but most common symptoms of anxiety include:

- Take proper sleep
Sleep is a relaxation mechanism of body and if proper sleep is not taken it may cause an elevation in anxiety. Proper sleep reduces the cortisol levels which are stress promoters. On average 6-8 hours of sleep is required for a person to live a healthy life.
- Do catharsis
Most of us feel shy to share our feeling with others because others may mock them etc. These social pressures don’t let us share our feelings with other which elevates the anxiety issue. So for such people, catharsis or writing is the best way. Its simple way of calming anxiety just wrote everything on paper. You may through paper so that others may not read that.
- Take medical advice
There are several ways to calm down anxiety, but they take time. But in some cases, medicine is required to treat anxiety. So, discuss with some good psychologist and seek medical advice.
